Scientific Technician

This Laboratory Associate role is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in biological sciences to contribute to innovative research in the field of cutaneous biology and immunology. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of experienced scientists to design, conduct, and analyze experiments related to wound healing, angiogenesis, and inflammation.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Assisting in laboratory operations, including maintaining equipment, preparing reagents, and managing supplies.
- Performing routine molecular biology, histology/immunochemistry, microscopy, and flow cytometry to support projects in cutaneous biology and immunology.
- Develop and implement effective laboratory procedures, including quality control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and execute research projects, including preparing materials, conducting experiments, and analyzing data.
- Develop and maintain accurate laboratory records, including experiment protocols, data collection, and results analysis.
- Provide exceptional customer service to researchers, visitors, and collaborators.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as biological sciences, chemistry, or biomedical engineering.
- Prior experience in laboratory settings, preferably in molecular biology, histology/immunochemistry, or microscopy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and researchers.
