We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with heavy machinery and has excellent problem-solving skills.

Job Description

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and tow tugs in a safe and efficient manner. You will also be required to perform daily pre-operational inspections of the equipment and ensure that it is in good working condition.

In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating logistical support for cannibalization, reallocation, out of sequence requests of aircraft materials, and the return of sea transport jigs. You will also be required to operate heavy equipment to load/unload shipping containers of MCAs using 30 k forklift.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience working with overhead cranes.
  • 3+ years of experience working in aviation ramp operations.
  • 3+ years experience working with heavy equipment.

You must have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. You should also be able to lift up to 30lbs/14kg and stand for extended periods of time.

Benefits

This is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a 3rd party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus in America.
