About us

  • We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team as a category buyer.

As a category buyer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to procure goods and services. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process efficiency and productivity improvements.

You will manage a portfolio of preferred suppliers/manufacturers and build up extensive market knowledge to maximize the supply chain's process efficiency and productivity.

Some key responsibilities include:

  1. Supply Chain Associate for MEP category of commercial and residential construction projects.
  2. Sourcing and finding the right sources.
  3. Pre-Qualifications of vendors by desk and field appraisal.
  4. Understanding business needs and stakeholder expectations.
  5. Preparing SCM documentation (Comparative statements, Purchase orders).
  6. Techno-commercial evaluation of MEP items.
  7. Procurement tracking in liaison with design and quality assurance team.
  8. Ensuring smooth supply of MEP material by effective follow-up from vendors and reporting/data recording.
  9. Vendor induction, negotiation and management.
  10. Expedition for timely delivery of materials.
  11. Preparing payment documentation (Invoices, Payment vouchers etc.).

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field.
  • Proven experience in finishing, MEP Category buying structural sector buying is a strong advantage.
  • Location: Lahore.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and analytical tools for forecasting and reporting.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
