Job Title: AI Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Procurement Engineer to join our team.

  • This individual will play a vital role in supporting the electrical engineering team by identifying, evaluating, and recommending materials, components, and vendors for project requirements.
About the Role:

The AI Procurement Engineer will be responsible for assisting the Electrical Design Team with assembly drawings creations to reduce processing time for equipment take offs with Esticom.

  • Candidates should have experience coordinating with Procurement for regular updates to Procore cost catalog and assemblies.
  • A successful candidate will be able to optimize and standardize electrical component selection to balance cost, performance, and availability.
  • They will review Esticom take offs and generate a complete BOM and BOQ for a project.
  • The ideal candidate will identify and evaluate suppliers based on technical compliance, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Review vendor technical documentation, material specifications, and certifications is also an essential part of this job.
  • The AI Procurement Engineer will explore AI-powered tools for process improvement, automation, and standardization.
  • They will ensure selected components align with engineering design and project needs.
  • Provide technical justifications for supplier selection is also required.
  • Candidates should collaborate with Value Engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities in sourcing.
  • Recommend alternative materials or vendors that meet project specifications.
  • The AI Procurement Engineer will ensure procured components meet industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Conduct technical assessments of materials for long-term reliability and compatibility.
