About the Role

The role of Anaesthesiology Staff Medical Officer is a critical one, requiring strong decision-making skills and the ability to maintain open and consistent communication with faculty, staff, patients, and their families.

  • As a key member of the anaesthesia team, you will be responsible for performing preoperative anaesthesia assessments and providing perioperative care to patients undergoing surgery.
  • You will also provide anaesthesia care to patients outside the operating room, including procedures such as radiology, radiotherapy, and endoscopy.
  • In addition, you will perform related procedures under the supervision of a consultant and follow the hospital's quality and patient safety policies in the provision of patient care.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Preoperative anaesthesia assessment of patients
  • Perioperative anaesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery
  • Anaesthesia care to patients undergoing procedures outside the operating room
  • Performing related procedures under the supervision of a consultant
  • FOLLOWING THE HOSPITAL'S QUALITY AND PATIENT SAFETY POLICIES IN THE PROVISION OF PATIENT CARE
About You

We are seeking an individual with a MBBS degree from a HEC recognized university, preferably with an additional diploma or MCPS in a relevant field.

  • A minimum of seven years post-MBBS experience in related areas is required.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to maintain continuous open and consistent communication with faculty, staff, patients, and their families are essential.
  • Candidates should have a command over counselling patients and their families and be able to act quickly to address crisis situations.
To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need:
  • Mbbs degree from Hec Recognized University
  • At Least Seven Years Post Mbbs Experience In Related Areas
  • Ability To Maintain Continuous Open And Consistent Communication With Faculty, Staff, Patients, And Their Families
