Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our data architecture teams and guide them through daily implementation tasks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and meeting business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provides guidance to immediate team members on daily tasks and activities, promoting efficient collaboration and teamwork
  • Sets overall expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
  • Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver data architecture solutions in line with business requirements, ensuring seamless integration and effective delivery
  • Manages stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business objectives, maintaining a strong reputation and credibility
  • Creates a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect for team members, prioritizing diverse representation and promoting a positive work environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience, demonstrating expertise and depth in the field
  • Experience leading data architecture projects, showcasing ability to drive results and deliver successful outcomes
  • Experience managing data architects, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance skills and performance
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods, leveraging technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle, from design to deployment
  • Advanced understanding of data architecture methodologies, including data warehousing and business intelligence
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments
  • Practical cloud-native experience, applying cloud-based technologies to drive innovation and scalability
  • Experience working at the code level, demonstrating hands-on expertise and technical proficiency
