About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Coal Technologist to join our team at Ingredion Incorporated. As a Coal Technologist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and ensuring that coal supplies meet established standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory tests on incoming raw materials, including coal, chemicals, and other substances.
  • Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, including analytical results and calibration data.
  • Ensure the availability of all required solutions and chemicals in the laboratory.
  • Report any abnormal test results or equipment malfunctions to the Plant Quality Assurance Manager immediately.
  • Prioritize testing based on process needs and ensure timely in-process analysis with production teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Coal Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in QA/QC laboratory settings, preferably in food, pharma, chemical, or quality control/assurance industries.
  • Excellent analytical skills, mathematical knowledge, and familiarity with quantitative calculations.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a dynamic environment.
