Visual Design Specialist

Job Overview

The role of a Visual Design Specialist involves creating visually appealing images through various mediums, including logos, packaging design, and digital/manual photography. This position requires a high level of creativity, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop graphics for logos, wrappers, boxes, letterheads, visiting cards, promotional materials, and digital/manual photography.
  • Design page layouts and create technical illustrations for presentations.
  • Manage and deliver graphic design solutions to meet business needs.
  • Update designs according to export/local order requirements and ensure products are up-to-date on the website.
  • Create mockups and drawings to present to the marketing department for buyers.
  • Design envelopes, brochures, flyers, etc.
  • Maintain sound knowledge of all kinds of packaging design.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and In-Page.
  • Knowledge of web designing is an asset.
