The successful candidate will support Client Coverage in developing and executing their client strategies and collaborate with both teams on credit analysis-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Industry Insights: Discuss the dynamics and nature of clients' industries, including key risk aspects.
  2. Management Assessment: Evaluate management strength, experience, and track record, as well as corporate governance.
  3. Strategy Analysis: Articulate clients' strategies and assess their clarity and associated execution risks.
  4. Funding Strategy: Assess funding strategy, financial policy, treasury activity (hedging, cash management), and liquidity.
  5. Risk Considerations: Discuss other pertinent risk aspects, including country risk, parental and/or governmental linkage/support, relative ranking of indebtedness, Fraud risk; Climate risk and Environmental risk.
  6. Compliance and Governance: Ensure use of appropriate calculators in alignment with Credit Policy for relevant approvals (e.g. Raptor, Group Aggregation Calculator).
  7. ESRA Checklist: Complete ESRA (Environment and Social Risk Assessment) Checklist.
  8. Event Monitoring: Proactively monitor key entity or industry-wide events and developments, as well as covenants and risk triggers where applicable.
  9. Relationship Management: Partner with Relationship Managers in pursuing their client strategies through proactive idea generation, support in preparing materials for client discussion, and ensuring they are always fully briefed on key risk aspects.
