Mechanical Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of mechanical equipment through quality PM/CM and ensuring the reliability of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence - Hands-on experience in operating and maintaining mechanical equipment, including pumps, gears, conveyors, sifters, dryers, elevators, mills, centrifuges, ID/FD fans, and compressors.
  • Maintenance Management - Effective and timely maintenance of overall mechanical systems and allied auxiliaries to ensure compliance with all PM and condition-based schedules.
  • Project Execution - Collaborate on new quality ideas, prepare feasibility reports, BOQs, follow up on procurement of materials, and ensure safe execution of capex/MOC projects within stipulated timeframes.
  • EHS Compliance - Implement EHS standards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure a safe working environment for subordinates.
  • Cost Optimization - Identify cost reduction opportunities in the area of responsibility and mechanical section to ensure efficient operation.
  • People Development - Communicate and build relationships with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met with high quality in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc. Engg.)
  • Work experience in Petro-chemical/Fertilizer/Process/Food industries
  • 6-10 years' hands-on experience in operation and maintenance of electrical installations
  • English fluency, both written and spoken
