Senior Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) professional to fill this key role.

About the Role

This position requires a strong background in quality assurance and software testing, with experience in quality management software and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliverables Understanding: Review functional and design specifications to ensure a comprehensive grasp of individual deliverable(s).
  • Test Requirements Identification: Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design a test coverage plan.
  • Test Case Development: Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts, including test data, data validation, harness scripts, and automated scripts.
  • Test Execution and Evaluation: Execute and evaluate manual/automated test cases and report test results.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
  • Quality Issue Escalation: Identify potential quality issues per defined process and escalate them immediately.
  • Deliverable Validation: Ensure that deliverable(s) meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
  • Defect Reporting and Fix Verification: Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: BS/MCS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent in a related discipline.
  • Experience: 3+ years of relevant QA technical experience.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in quality management software and processes, knowledge of technical aspects of software solutions being tested, business process understanding, and ability to create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to write test plans and test cases, report/communicate bugs to developers and other stakeholders, and translate technical requirements into test plans.
