Job Title:

Senior Java Developer Lead

About the Role:

We are urgently hiring a senior Java developer lead for an IT firm in Lahore. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical teams and defining development best practices.

This onsite position requires a strong focus on software development, with a minimum of 12 years of experience in Java. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have expertise in SQL Server, Hibernate, JPA, and multi-threaded application development.

The selected individual will also work closely with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage deep expertise in microservices architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven design to drive technology innovation.
  • Lead technical teams and define development best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Develop and implement Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to facilitate iterative development and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain knowledge of front-end technologies (Angular, React) and stay up-to-date with emerging trends and industry developments.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java.
  • Deep expertise in SQL Server, Hibernate, JPA, and multi-threaded application development.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven design.
  • Experience in leading technical teams and defining development best practices.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Exposure to front-end technologies (Angular, React).
