Financial Strategy Director

In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and execution of financial strategies that drive business growth while ensuring sustainability and effective cash flow management. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating long-term financial plans, including capital allocation, fundraising projections, and investor engagement to support business expansion.

Key responsibilities include developing financial models and projections to support fundraising initiatives, providing investors with insights on scenario analysis to senior management and the board for strategic decision-making, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS. You will also oversee statutory audits, manage relationships with external auditors, and address audit findings promptly.

A strong understanding of UK financial regulations and compliance standards is essential, as well as proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Your technical literacy on digital financial services will enable you to navigate the fintech landscape effectively. As a seasoned finance leader, you will possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a strong attention to detail.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Masters in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • ACCA qualified / ICAP CA CAF and CFAP stage cleared
