We're seeking an exceptional software developer to join our team as a software engineer.

About the Role
  • This is a hybrid position that involves writing, testing and documenting well-structured code against design that scales and meets customers' functional and non-functional requirements.
  • You will participate in all aspects of software development activities including design coding, code review unit-testing bug fixing and operations.
  • Your tasks will include participating in customer projects and working closely with architects and functional consultants to design integrate and implement solutions that align with customer requirements.
  • You will solve and tackle customer problems and software defects.
  • You will work together with other Project and/or Support team members to provide development estimates and timelines for support engineering activity.
  • Your goal will be to promote the production of quality software and partner with the QA team to ensure that the software we deliver has the highest quality output.
  • You will cooperate as part of a self-organizing cross-functional team.
  • You will communicate effectively on progress and ensure risks and issues are raised early to minimize impact on delivery.
About the Skills Required
  • Experience in developing distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications is essential.
  • A deep understanding of software applications architecture and infrastructure is necessary.
  • Knowledge of DevOps methodologies (CI/CD) and technologies preferably Microsoft DevOps solutions is required.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing SaaS & PaaS concepts is desirable.
  • Performance tuning skills on SQL statements and data processing procedures preferably in C# or SQL are essential.
  • Experience in the Consumer Goods/Retail sector and specific commercial processes such as trade promotions sales agreement sales force automation incentives management retail execution is an advantage.
  • Strong time management problem-solving orientation and collaborative working style are required.
  • Adequate interpersonal skills in English both verbal and written are necessary.
