Tech Lead for Engineering Excellence

We are looking for a seasoned Tech Lead who will spearhead engineering excellence within our organization. This role demands strong technical leadership, strategic direction, and operational capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering innovative technology solutions that address complex challenges. As a senior Management team member, this individual will contribute to organizational decision-making and drive technical innovation.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Drive technical excellence through strategic direction and leadership.
  • Elevate our technology strategy by aligning it with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to craft technology-driven solutions.
Technology Leadership:
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions.
  • Pioneer architectural frameworks that cater to present and future requirements.
  • Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge tools and technologies.
Technical Expertise:
  • Advance proficiency in developing solutions using modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Strong comprehension of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, with a deep understanding of their core services.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, architecture, and team leadership roles.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in management-level decision-making, strategy, and team development.
  • Experience in designing platforms for public health or large-scale data automation projects for the Public Sector.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
