**About the Role:**

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in backend engineering, you will be responsible for developing server applications of various software platforms, including writing Restful APIs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from small-scale applications to large-scale enterprise systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that the functionality, security, and performance of these applications align with design specifications and meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop server applications using NodeJS and its available frameworks such as ExpressJS and NestJS.
  • Write backend components and Restful APIs to drive project success.
  • Maintain systems by resolving existing issues and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to foster a culture of open communication and knowledge-sharing.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to deliver high-quality solutions that meet their needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in the professional industry.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in Javascript technologies to develop high-quality solutions.
  • Knowledge of NodeJS and its available frameworks such as ExpressJS and NestJS.
  • Experience in writing backend components and Restful APIs to drive project success.
  • Understanding of security standards and compliances to ensure data protection.
  • Experience with different relational and schemaless databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Creativity in designing database structures to meet functional requirements.
  • Expertise in writing unit tests to achieve minimum 90% test coverage.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Github, JIRA, and other collaboration tools to facilitate teamwork.
  • Fundamental understanding of concepts and design principles to drive innovation.
  • Brief understanding of front-end technologies to ensure holistic solutions.
  • Flexible attitude and versatile personality to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Effective presentation skills to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Strong influence among team members to drive motivation and engagement.
