Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team and oversee the financial operations of our e-commerce business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective financial strategies that align with our business objectives.
  2. Manage the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  3. Analyze market trends and competitor dynamics to inform financial decisions.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  1. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  2. Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  3. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to inform business decisions, including profitability assessments, cost control, and investment evaluations.

E-Commerce Financial Management

  1. Oversee the financial aspects of our e-commerce operations, including revenue forecasting, margin analysis, and cost management.
  2. Monitor online sales performance and provide recommendations to enhance profitability and optimize customer acquisition costs.
  3. Collaborate with the e-commerce team to develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns aligned with financial objectives.

Cash Flow Management

  1. Manage cash flow efficiently, including working capital, payment cycles, and investment opportunities.
  2. Identify and mitigate financial risks related to currency fluctuations, inventory, and supplier payments.

Cost Control & Profitability

  1. Implement cost control measures across the organization, focusing on sourcing, production, and logistics.
  2. Evaluate and optimize cost structures to improve margins in retail and online sales channels.
  3. Lead efforts to improve operational efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenditures.

Financial Compliance & Risk Management

  1. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax laws and reporting requirements.
  2. Manage the external audit process and liaise with auditors for accurate and timely reporting.
  3. Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Education: ACA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA (Part-Qualified or Qualified)
  2. Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the industry.
  3. Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting. Experience with financial software. Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
