Financial Operations Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting small high-quality software businesses in various aspects of finance operations.
Key responsibilities will include generating and sending accurate customer invoices, recording cash receipts and payments received from customers, monitoring and managing the AR aging report, investigating and resolving any discrepancies in AR, identifying and booking AR-related accruals during the month-end process, assisting in setting up new customer accounts, coordinating with sales and operational teams, performing monthly AR account reconciliations, preparing and providing monthly AR reports and analysis to management, recording daily financial transactions, processing vendor invoices and payments, investigating and resolving posting errors for both AR and Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, reconciling AR/AP sub-ledgers to the General Ledger on a monthly basis, ensuring timely vendor payments, determining the need for month-end accruals based on recurring expenses, downloading and updating bank transactions, performing weekly cash reconciliations, posting all credit card charges from statements according to standard operating procedures, ensuring appropriate backup documentation for all employee expenses, and managing day-to-day accounting activities in strict adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
