Job Role Overview

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records, while also providing timely support to key stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately record and maintain daily financial transactions in compliance with established accounting standards.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, as well as prepare and analyze profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Process invoices, manage company ledgers, and reconcile entries into the accounting system.
  • Prepare tax forms, enter data, and maintain records, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Monitor and process accounts receivable/payable, handle payroll in a timely manner, and reconcile transactions to assess accuracy.
  • Record debits and credits, perform account reconciliations, and comply with relevant laws and regulations for reporting requirements.
  • Review variances from projected budgets, process sales invoices, receipts, and payments, and maintain organized financial paperwork and filing systems.

  • Essential Skills:
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong concentration and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a passion to learn and grow professionally.
  • Relevant academic qualifications, such as B.Com or M.Com in Finance/Accounting, or professional certifications like ACCA.
