Job Opportunity

The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a Research Assistant position under the National Research Program for Universities-Higher Education Commission project.

This is an exciting opportunity for a PhD student or someone likely to enroll in PhD to contribute to a cutting-edge research project on the Synthetic Process Development of Imatinib and Synthesis of Its New Analogues as Potential Anticancer Agents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct laboratory experiments and data analysis related to the synthesis of Imatinib and its analogues.
  • Develop and optimize synthetic processes for the production of Imatinib and its analogues.
  • Collaborate with the Principal Investigator and other team members to achieve project goals.
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, applicants must:

  • Be currently enrolled in PhD or likely to enroll in PhD in the coming semester.
  • Have a strong background in chemistry and relevant laboratory experience.
