Job Description

The Gardener will be responsible for maintaining the health and beauty of our gardens and outdoor spaces. This includes:

  • Performing routine garden maintenance tasks such as watering, pruning, weeding, and fertilizing.
  • Planting new flowers, shrubs, and trees according to design plans.
  • Maintaining and repairing garden structures and equipment.
  • Identifying and treating plant diseases and pests.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform routine garden maintenance tasks including watering, pruning, weeding and fertilizing.
  • Plant new flowers, shrubs, and trees in line with approved designs.
  • Carry out regular inspections of garden structures and equipment.
  • Provide solutions to plant related issues like disease and pests control.
  • Create and maintain compost bins.
  • Coordinate with team members to meet project deadlines.
  • Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Requirements

To be successful as a Gardener, you should have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in gardening or landscaping.
  • Detailed knowledge of various plants, their growing requirements and maintenance techniques.
  • Ability to operate gardening tools and equipment safely.
  • Good physical fitness to perform manual labor.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A positive attitude towards teamwork.
