We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to create high-quality mobile applications using our collaborative development process. The successful candidate will be working closely with internal teams to develop and maintain functional mobile applications, utilizing knowledge and expertise about application architecture and the latest mobile technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build advanced Android applications using industry-leading software development tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and implement new features, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability, to guarantee the highest level of quality.
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance, identifying areas for optimization and implementing effective solutions.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
  • A strong understanding of the Android SDK and ability to handle different screen sizes is essential for this role.
  • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON protocols is also highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in third-party libraries and APIs is required to leverage their capabilities and enhance application functionality.
  • A solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, from conception to deployment, is necessary to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Familiarity with design patterns, such as MVC, MVVM, and Architecture components, is essential for developing scalable and maintainable applications.
  • Experience with ROOM models, SQLite, and RDBMS is required to manage and manipulate data effectively.
  • Good understanding of OOP concepts and design principles is necessary to write clean, modular, and efficient code.
  • Familiarity with additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers, can be beneficial for developing innovative applications.
  • The ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements is crucial for success in this role.
  • Familiarity with Firebase real-time database, remote config, cloud message APIs, and push notifications can be advantageous for leveraging their capabilities.
  • An understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines is necessary to create visually appealing and user-friendly applications.
  • Proficiency in code versioning tools is essential for managing codebase changes and collaborating with team members.
Requirements
  • Proven 2 to 5 years of standalone mobile app development experience.
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 apps live on the Play Store.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
