Security Architecture Specialist

Career Description

  • We are seeking a Security Architecture Specialist to design and implement an end-to-end security architecture that embeds automation, advanced analytics, and Generative AI.
  • The ideal candidate will own the technical roadmap for AI-powered detection & response across SIEM, XDR, etc., mapping requirements to frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK / D3FEND, NIST, CIS controls and ISO27001.
  • Responsibilities include researching, prioritising, and prototyping new detections that can be automated at scale, turning complex security data into high-fidelity signals.
  • The successful candidate will design playbooks and agent workflows that auto-triage, contain, and remediate validated threats.
  • This role involves building and tuning LLM-based assistants (prompt/chain engineering, RAG, vector search) to summarise alerts, enrich context, and recommend response actions.
  • The Security Architecture Specialist will architect scalable pipelines to ingest, transform, and store multi-petabyte security telemetry for real-time analytics.
  • Partnering with SOC is essential, codifying hunts, deploying behaviour analytics, and overseeing major incidents, acting as Tier-3 escalation.
  • The candidate must ensure AI/automation solutions meet legal, privacy, and audit requirements; define human-in-the-loop guardrails and policy enforcement.
  • Championing a culture of automation; coaching engineers and analysts on secure coding, ML safety, and threat-informed defence is crucial.
Requirements
  • Detailed understanding of security architecture principles and practices
  • Experience in designing and implementing AI-powered detection & response solutions
  • Strong knowledge of frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK / D3FEND, NIST, CIS controls and ISO27001
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including SOC and engineering
