Taxation Specialist

iTrust Tax and Accounting is seeking an ambitious Junior Accountant to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will assist with various tasks including financial statement preparation, tax returns, and monthly reports.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Working with Senior Accountants on accounting projects to prepare financial statements.
2. Supporting the taxation team in making tax returns and BASs.
3. Reviewing clients' expenses, payroll records, and other assigned tasks.
4. Ensuring accurate and timely updating of financial data in Xero Software.
5. Compliance work for Self Managed Superannuation Funds.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
2. Excellent understanding of financial reporting.
3. Technical accounting skills.
4. Previous experience in general accounting.
5. Proficiency in relevant accounting software.
6. High attention to detail and accuracy.
