Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team. As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to evaluate software functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Identify, document, and report defects using appropriate tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product owners, to ensure requirements are met.
  • Maintain and update test cases to reflect changes in software functionality.
  • Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and testing standards.
  • Perform basic database testing and validate data integrity.
  • Assist in automating test scripts under supervision.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Test APIs and ensure their stability and security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-1 year of experience in software quality assurance or a related field is required.
  • Knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and lifecycle.
  • Basic understanding of manual and automated testing approaches.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities.
