Job Description:

This is a Media and Communications Manager role at an organization that provides free, community-centered digital and tech skills training to girls and young women. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in communications, nonprofit media, or digital storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop engaging content (photos, videos, stories, quotes) from programs.
  • Lead the creation of student and alumni stories, success profiles, and community voices.
  • Design visually appealing content for social media platforms.
  • Maintain a content calendar that aligns with programs and goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, media studies, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and visual storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in Canva, basic video editing, and social media tools.
  • Experience working with community-based programs or gender justice initiatives is a plus.
