SharePoint Architect Role

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint architect to set up additional SharePoint sites, create and edit list and library-driven SharePoint web-part pages, and implement static HTML content.

  • This role requires input to strategic planning and tactical planning to meet established business objectives.
  • The successful candidate will manage application deployment, training, and support projects for the technology department to ensure they align with business needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage application deployment, training, and support projects to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Implement static HTML content, set up additional SharePoint sites, and create/edit list and library-driven SharePoint web-part pages.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and tactical planning to meet established business objectives.
  • Migrate current SharePoint instances and shared-drive environments into a single consolidated SharePoint instance.
  • Develop and document detailed functional business requirements in collaboration with Client SMEs.
  • Validate high-level intersystem views, define, document, and validate high-level business requirements and associated business processes.
Requirements
  • Must have extensive knowledge and experience delivering SharePoint solutions preferably in SharePoint 20xx (On Premise) or later versions.
  • Proven ability to develop secure intranet and extranet portals and external websites using best practices.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft .Net technology stack, including C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, and SQL backend databases.
  • Experience integrating with backend operational and content management systems.
  • Understanding of designing and developing metadata configuration, site configuration, lists, content types, workflows, web parts, and other components.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint security and networking configurations.
  • Working knowledge of web services design, development, and implementation.
  • Ability to create and modify master layout pages, web parts, and other components.
  • Experience with Active Directory Domain Services, Microsoft SQL Server database software, and Internet Information Services.
  • Strong understanding of web/portal structure and design, development, content management, usability, user experience interface design, and navigation.
  • Able to apply project management skills such as Waterfall or Agile to define project, resource, and financial plans.
