About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a skilled professional to join our team as a Global Knowledge Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering knowledge management services, including maintaining and updating the Knowledge Hub, designing and distributing quarterly newsletters, and supporting the IT team with user access migration.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain and update the Knowledge Hub, ensuring it remains a valuable resource for Programme Partners and colleagues.
  2. Design and distribute quarterly Knowledge Hub newsletters, highlighting new materials, upcoming events, and webinar recordings.
  3. Work closely with the IT team to migrate user access from Sharepoint to Salesforce.
  4. Develop new training modules based on existing guidance documents to support Programme Partner field staff.
  5. Support Country Team administrators in managing LMS users and creating additional training modules.
  6. Analyse user statistics to inform continuous improvement of knowledge sharing and learning management systems.
  7. Collaborate with the Knowledge Working Group to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of current offerings.
  8. Support country colleagues in developing capacity strengthening materials.
  9. Create and implement a Knowledge Partner Engagement Strategy.

Event Coordination

The Global Knowledge Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating Better Cotton's annual symposia and quarterly webinars. This involves:

  1. Assisting with event organisation and delivery, including agenda preparation and speaker coordination.
  2. Evaluating the success of symposia to inform future improvements.
  3. Identifying relevant topics for quarterly webinars in consultation with the Knowledge Working Group.
  4. Facilitating discussions and taking notes during webinars.

Data Management

The Knowledge Management coordinator will support the Partnerships Manager with implementing the Power BI Dashboard for Programme Partner Monitoring. This includes:

  1. Improving and managing data collection tools for collecting KPI data.
  2. Creating a user manual for effective use of the Performance Monitoring Tool.
  3. Maintaining and updating a clear user guide for colleagues using the data collection tools.
  4. Maintaining Power BI to ensure accuracy and representation of partner performance.

Communication and Collaboration

The Coordinator role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, working closely with Better Cotton colleagues and partners.
