We are seeking an experienced ERP Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Test Planning and Execution and Defect Management:
    • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.
    • Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
    • Collaborate with developers and product teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
  2. Process Improvement and Automation and Documentation:
    • Continuously improve testing procedures and automation frameworks.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, bug logs, and QA activities.
    • Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
  3. Team Collaboration and Communication:
    • Liaise with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
    • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Ensure quality gates are met before software release.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Competence:
    • A strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
    • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for database validation.
    • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and QA integration in DevOps.
  • Business Domain Knowledge:
    • An understanding of accounting principles and ERP modules (GL, AP, AR, Payroll, Inventory).
    • Experience testing financial or accounting software platforms.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, preferably in ERP or financial systems.
