As an Area Agri Sourcing Manager, you will play a key role in sourcing fresh milk and agri raw materials from local farmers while implementing good farm and sustainable agriculture practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Driving agriculture extension and development activities in the region
  • Achieving business results through sourcing
  • Development of sustainable direct source in the region
  • Acting as an advisor and subject matter expert to guide suppliers on modern farming techniques to enhance productivity, quality and profitability.
  • Supporting Regional Agri Sourcing Manager in developing strategies for fresh milk/agri raw materials
  • Collaborating with Farmers, Government officials, NGOs and other organizations for the development of farmer & livestock
  • Coaching, training & development of farmers/MSAs

What makes you successful?

  • Understanding and appreciation dynamics of rural societies, their development, and raw material production systems
  • Knowledge of fodder production including varieties & costs
  • Knowledge and understanding of modern dairy and agriculture farms' management
  • Adequate knowledge and understanding of risk assessment, food safety, hygiene and quality assurance, sustainability of raw material production

This is a senior level position that requires 3-5 years of experience in Dairy / Agronomy sector with a degree in Agriculture, Veterinary, Animal Husbandry or Agronomy.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of farmers and communities.
