Financial Controller Position

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company.
Responsibilities:
- To prepare final accounts as per accounting standards, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements;
- To establish, maintain, monitor, continuously update and integrate accounting systems, complying with accounting standards;
- To be responsible for controlling, monitoring and maintaining the company's financial resources for business operations;
- To prepare cash flow forecasts on a monthly basis;
- To monitor, track and follow up on accounts receivable and payable;
- To ensure timely payments to suppliers according to the prescribed process;
- To guarantee that all payments and receipts are made according to the company policy and procedure, and agreed terms and conditions with suppliers;
- To be responsible for monitoring and renewing credit limits with banks, if any;
- To prepare monthly budgets based on annual budgets;
- To oversee the overall control of bank and cash transactions, and their reconciliations;
- To prepare and file online monthly Sales Tax returns and withholding statements;
- To handle property tax, professional tax, and/or any other government levies;
- To manage all affairs and requirements relating to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SECP);
- To prepare and e-file annual income tax returns;
- To develop Standard Operating Procedures for the accounts and finance department to ensure efficient and effective management of departmental operations;
- To establish, maintain, and update Information Management Systems (ERP);
Requirements:
- At least CA Finalist
- Have at least 5-6 years of relevant professional experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well conversant with accounting software/related ERP
- Honest and hardworking
- Paper, printing, packaging, and stationery industry experience is an added advantage
