Senior React Native Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior React Native Mobile Application Developer to join our team at Technology Diagnostic.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with React Native and 4+ years of professional software development experience.

While experience with Swift, Objective C, and Java is a plus, it is not required. What's more important is your ability to work on large, complex systems and take ownership of your projects.

You should be able to identify with the goals of our clients and commit to delivering high-quality results. A strong understanding of React Native best practices and a commitment to following them is also essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining excellent React Native applications with clean code. You will implement pixel-perfect UIs that match designs, integrate third-party APIs, and write unit and integration tests.

You will also release applications to iOS and Google Play stores, work with native modules when required, and participate in sprint retrospectives and daily standups. As part of our team, you will assist with building estimates, interface with clients via Slack, Zoom, and email, and track your time throughout the day using Toggle.

We use modern tools such as Jira, Slack, GitHub, Google Docs, and others, so experience with these tools is highly desirable. But most importantly, you must be passionate about software development, have a positive mindset, and a can-do attitude. We're looking for someone who is constantly striving to learn new things and improve, follows industry news, regularly tinkers with new technologies, and reads books and blogs to keep their skills current.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a small team to build React Native iOS / Android applications for our clients.
  • Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code.
  • Implement pixel-perfect UIs that match designs.
  • Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience.
  • Integrate third-party APIs.
  • Write unit and integration tests.
  • Release applications to iOS and Google Play stores.
  • Work with native modules when required.
  • Complete two-week sprints and participate in sprint retrospectives and daily standups.
  • Assist with building estimates.
  • Interface with clients via Slack, Zoom, and email.
  • Track your time throughout the day using Toggle.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience working with React Native.
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
  • Ability to take extreme ownership over your work.
  • Ability to identify with the goals of FullStack clients, and dedicate yourself to delivering on the commitments you and your team make to them.
  • An understanding of React Native best practices and a commitment to following them.
  • A positive mindset and can-do attitude.
  • Forensic attention to detail.
  • English Skills (ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken English).
