This role requires an individual who is skilled in maintenance and repair of various hotel equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, laundry, boiler, pool, and guest rooms.

Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to all engineering service calls, prioritizing guest requests and ensuring hotel equipment operates efficiently, safely, and without accidents.
  • Maintain accurate records of the Rooms Preventive Maintenance Program and Request Program.
  • Submit daily and timely work order request forms.
  • Address elevator breakdowns.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment and work areas.

The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or equivalent with special courses in building maintenance and construction. A minimum of 6 months of experience in an equal or similar position is also required.

Requirements
  • A professional presentation and the ability to work in a team atmosphere, making independent decisions.
  • The ability to drive a pick-up truck and snow removal equipment (may be required).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to respond to guests and colleagues effectively.

The physical demands of this role include frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing, and pulling to perform inspections and repairs. Climbing stairs and ladders may also be required on occasion.
