Accounting and Finance Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to join our team as a Finance Manager. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. They will be responsible for managing the accounting staff responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.

The role requires excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to oversee the production of periodic financial reports and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.

The Finance Manager will provide financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and provincial government requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounting staff responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.
  • Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and financial forecasts.
  • Oversee the production of periodic financial reports, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
  • Provide financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.

Requirements:
