Job Title: Production Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring timely delivery of products, and maintaining a clean working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Production Planning: Develop and implement daily production plans based on demand from outlets, providing production targets to subordinates.
- Timely Delivery: Ensure on-time production and timely delivery of products at retail outlets.
- Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a clean working environment through food hygiene policies, staff training, and ensure well-maintained equipment and sanitation conditions.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Ensure that all lights, ACs, generators, and kitchen equipment are in working condition throughout the production shift.
- Factory Security and Discipline: Maintain security and discipline at the factory.
- Purchasing and Inventory: Purchase raw materials as per production demand and ensure Just In Time Inventory to reduce expiry risks of various food items.
- Wastage Reduction: Reduce wastage of raw materials during production.
- Recipe Development: Document all recipes of bakery items and perform research and development for producing new bakery items.
- Reporting and Compliance: Prepare daily reports on purchasing raw materials and submit to the Accounts Department.
- Staff Management: Manage staff shift timings, shuffle staff, and ensure on-time presence of staff in the factory daily.
- Staff Recruitment: Inform the HR department regarding the need for staff in the factory when required and avoid overstaffing.
- Overall Factory Management: Oversee overall factory management.
