Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Ticketing and Fares Specialist to optimize our operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating new flight bookings, executing manual reissues, and managing refund procedures with precision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create new flight bookings on Sabre and other booking systems, demonstrating adaptability to diverse platforms and proficiency in securing optimal fares and itineraries.
  • Employ expert geographical knowledge to identify cost-effective airfares and leverage tools such as Bargain Finder for optimal results.
  • Execute manual reissues and manage refund procedures with precision, ensuring compliance with airline policies and industry standards.
  • Demonstrate exceptional typing speed and communication skills to assist customers via online chat, providing timely and accurate support.
  • Proactively manage queues, liaise with airlines, and coordinate schedule changes to optimize travel arrangements for clients.
  • Navigate between different Passenger Name Record (PNR) Control Centers (PCCs) seamlessly to accommodate varied client needs and preferences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive hands-on experience in ticketing and fare construction within the travel industry.
  • Proficiency in Sabre, Bargargain finder and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong understanding of airline operations, geographical nuances, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills for efficient customer support via online chat, email, and phone.
  • Proven ability to manage queues, liaise with airlines, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
