Job Description

We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee the production process and ensure its smooth operation.

Responsibilities
  1. Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans in accordance with job specifications.
  2. Coordination and Quality Control: Collaborate with sales teams to ensure that products meet required parameters and deliver quality according to client requirements.
  3. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve production-related problems, escalating issues to the Managing Director when necessary.
  4. Human Resource Optimization: Effectively manage personnel to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  5. Discipline and Harmony: Foster a positive work environment within the department, promoting discipline and harmony among team members.
  6. Quality and Quantity: Maintain high standards of quality while meeting or exceeding production targets.
  7. Economical Production: Organize the production department for optimal outcomes, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  8. Stock Management: Collaborate with purchasing, quality control, and stores departments to maintain optimal stock levels.
  9. Priority Setting: Set priorities for engraving jobs to ensure timely completion and minimize delays.
  10. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to employees as needed, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  11. Requirements Planning: Plan requirements for production, electrical spares, equipment, and tools in advance, ensuring seamless operations.
  12. Liaison with Departments: Maintain close liaison with Electrical, Mechanical, and Purchase departments to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
  13. Safety Measures: Implement safety measures for employees in the department, ensuring a safe working environment.
  14. Spare Parts Inventory: Maintain optimum spare parts inventory in coordination with the Purchase and Store departments.
  15. Administrative Control: Ensure effective administrative control over all production activities, including hiring, termination, and employee management.
  16. Additional Responsibilities: Perform additional duties as assigned by the Managing Director, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
  17. Quality Management System: Implement and maintain the Quality Management System effectively in the production department.
  18. Production Reports: Generate monthly production reports and compile an annual production report, providing valuable insights into departmental performance.
