Automation Framework Developer

We are currently seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Consultant Specialist.
This role involves designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks. Automation scripts using Selenium Java will be designed, developed, and maintained.
Automating API testing based on project needs is also a key responsibility of this role. The automation suite must be integrated into the CI pipeline.
The ideal candidate will have experience with containerized environments and should be able to execute automation scripts on them if required.
Strong communication skills are essential for handling client and team interactions regarding the deliverables of the automation project.
The successful candidate will guide the team in resolving technical challenges faced during the project.
There will be opportunities to proactively learn workflows and new technologies.
Supporting the development of test scripts to test the built application is another key aspect of this role.
Undertaking SIT execution and defect retests will also be part of the job.
Defects must be managed and feedback provided to the development team.
Best practice testing procedures and processes will be followed to employ effective tools and techniques.
The successful candidate will understand UAT work stream client/stakeholders' requirements and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assistance with test planning and regular progress reporting will also be required.
