About the Position

The Information Security Specialist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive risk assessments, reviewing client requirements, and overseeing vendor risk management. This individual will maintain an accurate asset inventory, review security tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential vulnerabilities in accordance with industry benchmarks and guidelines.
  • Client Requirements Review: Review client requirements and contract amendments to guarantee compliance with contractual terms and internal policies.
  • Vendor Risk Management: Oversee vendor risk management, including thorough due diligence to assess the security posture of vendors and their adherence to contractual and regulatory obligations.
  • Asset Inventory: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date asset inventory, ensuring it reflects the current state of all assets within the organization.
  • Security Tools Review: Regularly review security tools, such as SIEM, XDR, and patch management systems, to verify that all infrastructure aligns with established security standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively implement security and compliance requirements across the organization.
