Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Project Manager in our organization.

  • This position is responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of projects from initiation to closure.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience handling scrum projects using Jira, including ceremonies and delivery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking project budgets and schedules throughout the project lifecycle. They will also identify risks and escalate issues promptly to stakeholders, then mitigate them. Additionally, they will address crisis situations during project lifecycles and handle them favorably for the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage end-to-end delivery of projects from initiation to closure.
  2. Handle scrum projects using Jira, including ceremonies and delivery.
  3. Track project budgets and schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Identify risks and escalate issues promptly to stakeholders, then mitigate them.
  5. Address crisis situations during project lifecycles and handle them favorably for the project.
  6. Own project issues and ensure resolution by engaging relevant teams.
  7. Participate in reviews of key project documents, such as Initial Requests, Clear-choices, Solution Proposals, Test Strategies, etc.
  8. Receive and challenge estimates from IT stakeholders, then develop a project plan for delivery.
  9. Identify and engage necessary stakeholders for each project.
  10. Prepare key project documents like TOR, Test Strategy, Implementation Plan, and Post-Implementation Reports, etc.
  11. Provide timely status updates on projects and escalations, as required.
  12. Manage changes over projects according to agreed change control procedures.
  13. Ensure compliance with HOST PM processes and procedures.
  14. Contribute to project and resource prioritisation with IT and business stakeholders.
  15. Effectively manage Engagement Level 4+ projects (GLT Engagement levels).
