Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Agent to manage the procurement of frozen, dry foods, and non-food items. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage purchasing process from sourcing to delivery
- Analyze sales volume and market demands to create purchase orders
- Calculate product costs and prices to determine profit margin
- Ensure product quality by sampling and customer feedback
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of food purchasing experience or training, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:The ideal candidate should be able to sit and work in an office setting for the majority of the day, use a computer and type for extended periods, and reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
