Enterprise Data Architect Position

At this forward-thinking organization, we seek an accomplished Enterprise Data Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of cutting-edge data models, ontologies, and semantic layers.

This critical role involves collaborating with domain experts and stakeholders to model ontologies that align with business semantics and goals, ensuring semantic interoperability across different business units and data systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop enterprise data ontologies to define relationships between business concepts and datasets.
  • Architect scalable data solutions using Palantir Foundry, including pipeline design, data lineage, and operational workflows.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with cross-functional teams to advance data-driven decision-making initiatives.
  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks ensuring consistency, quality, and lineage across all enterprise datasets.
  • Lead the integration of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources into the Foundry ecosystem.
  • Optimize data architecture for analytics, machine learning, and real-time data exploration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture, with a strong understanding of data modeling principles.
  • Minimum 3 years of Palantir Foundry hands-on experience including ontology and pipeline development.
  • Strong expertise in OWL, RDF, SPARQL, or similar technologies for ontology modeling.
  • Deep understanding of semantic modeling, data catalogs, and knowledge graph development.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
  • Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, and working with large-scale data systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in Palantir Foundry or enterprise data architecture.
  • Prior experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, defense).
  • Experience with Linked Data, taxonomies, and controlled vocabularies.
