We are seeking a Transcription Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

This position involves working with a hybrid team of transcriptionists and editors to craft high-quality transcripts of expert networks, corporate earnings calls, company conference presentations, shareholder meetings, merger/acquisition announcements, and investor days. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and listening skills in English, as well as strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to multitask.

The primary responsibility of this role is building publication-quality transcripts with high speed, multi-speakers, and calls involving specialized terminology. In addition to transcriptions, the team assists in the collection of other business information – private company profiles.

  • You may be required to perform in either the role of a scopist or editor using real-time automated speech recognition technology and computer-aided transcription software to produce final output within set guidelines.
  • You may be asked to proof and/or edit work performed by other editors or scopists in order to meet quality control guidelines.

The successful candidate will collaborate with peers and team leaders to continuously improve the transcription workflow process.
