Financial Reporting and Analysis Manager

This role is responsible for managing financial reporting and analysis, month-end and year-end closings, audit and compliance, taxation and regulatory filings, internal controls and processes, team leadership, budgeting and forecasting, and strategic financial decisions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare critical financial statements with precision and accuracy, analyze financial data to identify trends, and present actionable recommendations to senior management.
  2. Month-End & Year-End Closings: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met and accounts are reconciled.
  3. Audit & Compliance: Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Taxation & Regulatory Filings: Ensure accurate and timely filing of all taxes, including VAT, GST, and corporate taxes.
  5. Internal Controls & Processes: Strengthen internal controls to ensure financial integrity and safeguard assets.
  6. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop junior accountants, ensuring exceptional performance.
  7. Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate on the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts that influence business strategy.
  8. Strategic Financial Decisions: Work with senior leadership to provide financial insights that inform key business decisions.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  2. Certification: CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification preferred.
  3. Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in financial reporting and accounting.
  4. Skills: Advanced knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel, strong leadership and team management skills, excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, proven ability to manage audits, prepare complex reports, and meet deadlines.
