Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our data infrastructure team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data systems, ensuring availability, scalability, and reliability. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making and enable efficient processing of large-scale data.

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and design appropriate data models and database schemas.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes for performance and efficiency.
  2. Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to data quality, consistency, and integrity.
  3. Implement and maintain data governance practices and policies.
  4. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide necessary data infrastructure and tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with SQL and database technologies.
  • Proficiency in working with big data technologies.
  • Familiarity with data integration and workflow management tools.
