DevOps Engineer Position

A DevOps engineer is required to work in a team environment, ensuring the efficient deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash and Python is also essential.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with development teams and provide technical guidance where needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
  • Managing and deploying applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborating with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software lifecycle.
  • Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated infrastructure provisioning.
  • Monitoring system performance and reliability to address any potential issues proactively.

Requirements:

1. At least 16 years of education in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), or equivalent, from a recognized university.

2. Minimum three (3) years post-qualification experience in a relevant field.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Scripting experience in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
