Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Accounting Manager. This position is responsible for timely and accurate financial accounting and reporting in accordance with applicable standards, policies, and processes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance with Group/Local Policies and IFRS;
  • Processing all transactional accounting accurately and timely in line with applicable standards and policies;
  • Leading and contributing to projects for simplification and modernization of financial processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency;
  • Implementing controls to ensure the authenticity and quality of financial statements.
Your Typical Day

This role involves:

  • Providing financial and accounting advisory on complex matters and new business streams in line with IFRS and Group policies;
  • Reviewing and improving current processes to enhance the quality and efficiency of financial reporting;
  • Managing audit coordination with external and internal auditors;
  • Preparing reports and presentations on financial results;
  • Preparing monthly and consolidated management accounts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Accreditation in finance or accounting (ACCA, CA finalist, or equivalent);
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance;
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data;
  • Ability to handle large volumes of complex data;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
