The Global Fellows Program in Communication & Design at Habib University invites applications for a two-year fellowship.

About the Fellowship:

This program offers faculty integration, diverse opportunities, and long-term career prospects. It also provides the flexibility of one-year fellowships, allowing individuals to explore various fields and interests.

Candidate Profile:
  • A Ph.D. or terminal degree in interaction design, user experience design, human-computer interaction, or related fields is required.
  • Backgrounds in service design, systemic design, industrial design, communication design, architecture, or similar fields with relevant professional or research experience are highly valued.
  • Strong visual/tangible design skills and the capacity for original, creative work informed by critical research are essential.
  • Experience considering interactions, interfaces, and experiences beyond screens; relevant design practice and pedagogy, especially in the Global South, are highly desirable.
  • Experience in a liberal arts environment is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching undergraduate courses (4 courses annually) is a primary responsibility.
  • Student mentorship, research supervision, and collaboration are also key aspects of this role.
  • Public seminars and curriculum enrichment contribute to the richness of the academic environment.
