Procurement Leadership Opportunity

The Procurement Manager role involves overseeing the purchasing function to ensure efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, evaluate suppliers, and apply industry best practices to enhance procurement efficiency.
  • Oversee inventory management by designing policies and systems that maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement support.
  • Establish procurement frameworks, compliance standards, and governance policies.
  • Champion digital procurement tools and analytics to improve decision-making.
  • Track and report procurement KPIs including cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance.
  • Streamline procurement processes for transparency and efficiency.
  • Mentor and lead the procurement team by setting targets, coaching, and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Manage large-scale purchasing decisions and maintain strong vendor diversity.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven track record as a procurement manager or head of procurement.
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and decision-making skills.
  • Solid experience in data analysis and budget management.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to guide and develop teams.
  • Education: MS/BSc in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and supplier management tools.
  • Familiarity with sourcing techniques and strong understanding of market dynamics.
  • Experience: 7–10 years in procurement (including at least 3 years in a related field).
