EHS Officer Job Description

Ensuring a Safe Work Environment

  • Audit production to identify potential hazards and risks, maintaining compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments of all operational aspects to minimize safety threats.
  • Analyze and present safety data in comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
  • Maintain equipment integrity by inspecting and repairing or replacing damaged units.
  • Prioritize prevention through regular maintenance and employee training programs.

  • Stay updated on the latest health and safety protocols and techniques through ongoing education.
  • Determine product safety for customers, ensuring quality meets standards.
  • Develop and implement safety plans that include infrastructure improvements and process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with leadership to maintain consistency in safety standards across teams.
  • Meet company health and safety goals while adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate accidents and near-misses to prevent future incidents.
  • Liaise with investigators as needed to ensure thorough incident reporting.
